Bram Baptiste and Scotty Rat agree to form a band called Bram Z and The Tribe in 1982 in Los Angeles to play at the local clubs in Hollywood and elsewhere. Mariah and Veronica begin their lives in Los Angeles clubbing and building their separate relationships with the charismatic Bram Z Baptiste. Success for the band seems close at hand very quickly until a variety of disasters strike. Meanwhile, Vinny tries for acting fame and future band member Matchy Modesto tells us about his life in a punk band in Los Angeles which also toured the country.
